The chips and salsa were great. However, the food I ordered was not edible. I've eaten better day old Taco Bell and at least that beefy Frito burrito cost me 15$ less. Next time don't get your meat from a can.

I had lunch with my high school Buddies at El Sombrero today. We graduated together in 1970 and played Sports together and against each other. We like to check out different spots on Fridays. The food was wonderful and plentiful. The service was wonderful at lunch. I really enjoyed the place as did my Buddy's. Please check this place out. It is quaint uncomfortable.

Popped in here with my daughter right when we got into Portland. Very nice staff and great food. Table salsa was spicy which I loved!

Great authentic food, very prompt service, place was busy around 12p when I visited. I had a #2 combo- tamale enchilada and hard shell taco, rice and beans and chips and salsa all for $13.00. Pretty reasonable. I’ll be back when I’m in north Portland area.

This is the kind of Mexican restaurant I remember from my childhood. It was even better than the local places in Cabo. The restaurant's ambiance, food, and service were all outstanding. We found this place by chance while passing through on a road trip and very nearly altered our return trip just to enjoy the food here again. For now we'll just have to plan a regular trip to Red Bluff.
